Lambswool
is one of the most durable and flexible natural fibres. Natural disinfectant fibre, it resists development of bacteria. Excellent insulator and ventilator. Lambswool keeps you warm during the winter months and cool during the summer as it has the ability to absorb moisture without feeling wet or damp because it allows the air to circulate around the body. Lambswool gives good support with out compressing like most synthetic materials. It is naturally flame retardant and only smoulders when it comes into contact with a naked flame.
Organic coir
Natural Mat’s coir is certified by SKAL International one of the world’s most reputable inspection organizations for organic products. Coir has excellent temperature regulating qualities which prevents babies from over heating whilst they sleep. Coir is naturally anti-dust mite which means it is perfect for all allergy sufferers. It is very breathable and provides good ventilation and insulation. Because of its natural springy quality coir is very supportive.
The Latex Mat

This organic crib mattress is made natural rubber latex tapped straight from the rubber tree. The natural rubber latex forms a springy core and is sandwiched between layers of organic coir for extra support. The coir is then wrapped in our unique lambswool which is bathed in a mixture made from lemon, lavender and eucalyptus, making it completely natural as well as maintaining the excellent thermal insulating properties of natural wool.

Our natural rubber Latex is 100% non-allergenic and our unique lambswool is bathed in a mixture made from essential oils of lemon, lavender and eucalyptus which renders it anti-dust mite. Our Mattress offers complete protection from house dust mites. Every Natural Mat has a removable pure cotton outer cover that can be machine washed at 60 degrees C (dust mites are killed at 57 degrees) which offers further allergy protection.
Naturally Fire Retardant
Natural Mat passes all fire regulations without the use of chemical or unnatural treatments in any part of the mattress. All our mattressees are covered in two unbleached, undyed 100% cotton covers that have no FR additives. All our mattresses comply to the new federal 16 CFR 1633 requirements.
